Announcing our Douglas County correspondant

A hearty APO welcome to James Bell. We are lucky to have a blogger of this caliber in Douglas County. Welcome aboard!

James Bell, a Videographer, was born in Atlanta and has lived in Douglas County 47 of his 50 years. He is a proud Libertarian who believes in personal liberty and self-governance. His political interests came from his father who was active in the community. He currently runs the Douglas County Taxpayers Coalition and is covered by the local newspapers and attends government meetings. Bell is the 2009 recipient of the Sam Adams Alliance “Tea Party Award” for helping to defeat two special sales tax referendums. A self described “capitalist pig”, he defends the free market system and rejects current attempts to dabble in socialism.
